Frequently asked questions:
How do I register my son?
Return to our website home page and click on the "Register Now" icon. Establish a family account on our website and provide parent information and player information. Each player will be required to have a USA Lacrosse membership for registration. This can be purchased prior to registration OR it can be done during the registration process.
Registration fees are paid via debit card or credit card during the registration process. In addition, fees can be subdivided into monthly payments through the spring season. The payment plan is available directly through the website during registration. All fees must be paid before the final deadline in accordance with the payment plan established for the 2023 Spring Season.
Be sure to keep your USA Lacrosse membership number available for entry during the registration process. Memberships must be renewed on an annual basis and the player's membership must be valid through the entire season. (For example, if the renewal date is March of 2023, the registration site will not allow the player registration to be completed until the renewal is inclusive of the last day of May 2023 since it is the last month of our active season.)
What are the fees for registration for the 2023 Season?
*5th/6th Grade: $350
*7th/8th Grade: $400
*Grades 9-12 (High School): $575
What do the fees for registration cover?
The registration fees for the 2023 season include conditioning clinics and skill development sessions through the month of December, practice sessions for the spring season beginning in January and ending at conclusion of the season, and fees affiliated with game play during the regular spring season.
Families are responsible for their own meal costs, transportation and transportation fees to and from games.
Uniform fees and details on how to reorder missing uniform pieces from the 2022 season will be discussed at the parent interest meetings that will be held during the open registration period.
Will Fundraising opportunities be available?
During the season, Southern Elite Lacrosse does as much as possible to raise funds to cover fees we incur during the season that are not subdized fully through the registration fees paid by our players. The funds we raise are used to help pay facility use fees, hourly trainer fees we incur during game days, referee costs and League fees associated with annual membership and jamboree entry fees.
Does my player get to keep his uniform?
Yes. The players are able to keep the uniforms they receive for the season. The uniform design is typically updated every 2 years. During the interim season, if the player has taken good care of his uniform, not lost any pieces of the uniform, and it still fits, they do not have to order a new uniform in the second season. Uniform replacement fees became very costly due to players losing them or enduring excessive wear and tear from the use of the uniform outside of regular season. *If a player received a uniform during the 2022 Season and has lost or damaged items from that set and will require a replacement item or requires a larger size, the uniform fee is the responsibility of the player / player family.
